Due to the anticipated inclement weather and to extend Thanksgiving break out of precaution, there will be no classroom instruction for Perry Local Schools, traditional and online, for Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Parents/Guardians and students involved in PHS extracurricular activities should check district websites and media outlets for the status of extracurricular events on days when schools are closed. All extracurricular activities (practices, games, and after-school activities) for Perry’s elementary buildings, Pfeiffer Intermediate School, and Edison Middle School are canceled for the day when Perry Local Schools are closed. Parents wishing to pick up daily meals for their quarantined students will need to submit the form below to pre-order. Meal Pre-Orders must be submitted by the day before. Meals will be according to the school menu at pick-up location and times detailed in the pre-order form and are a daily pick-up. Menus are available on Perry’s website – www.perrylocal.org. FREE MEALS EXTENDED THRU JUNE. On October 9, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced extensions of nationwide waivers. This allows all Perry Local students to receive breakfast and lunch meals at no cost throughout the school year 2020-2021. All Perry Cafeterias serve a grab & go breakfast and a nutritious hot lunch daily. This will also allow Perry quarantined students to continue receiving daily meals at no cost using our pre-order & pick-up form. We encourage all families to take advantage of these free meals to help with the financial burdens of families during this difficult time.
